What is Playboy Music?

Playboy Music is an exciting new platform for music discovery that combines breathtaking model videos with exclusive live music performances. The app offers a curated playlist of songs framed within beautifully crafted videos that celebrate the diversity of female beauty, bringing to life a new expression of Playboy’s stylish, sexy and seductive attitude.

When is the release date?

Playboy Music will be available in the Google Play store on Monday, November 23.

Where is the app available?

The Playboy Music app will launch in the US and roll out globally in December 2015.

When will the app be available on iOS?

Playboy Music will be available in the Apple app store in January 2016.

What are the main features of the app?

Playboy Music Members gain access to a regularly updated library of music videos featuring sexy models and great new tracks by exciting bands from around the world. We highly recommend viewing the videos full screen and using headphones or quality speakers to get the full effect. Members also enjoy access to exclusive model galleries and behind the scenes profiles of the people who are defining the new sexy. In addition, Members receive special offers on Playboy merchandise, weekend getaways, festival tickets and other exclusive prizes.

How often is new content refreshed?

Playboy Music Members receive up to five new music videos every week, and new model videos are released on a bi-weekly basis.

How is the music selected?

Believe it or not, all music featured in the app was recorded live rather than in a studio. Our approach does not affect the quality of the recording at all, but rather infuses the performances with intimacy and emotion. Therefore, we selected the most exciting musicians who we know can deliver a stellar live performance.

Does the app work on mobile and tablet?

Yes! The Playboy Music app has been optimized for devices of all shapes and sizes.

Can I stream videos to my HDTV or computer?

Yes! If you don’t have Google Chromecast, there are a number of third party apps that connect mobile devices to home entertainment systems through Roku, Apple TV, Xbox, PlayStation and other UPnP or DLNA systems. Check out iMediaShare for more information.
